Next Stage

Background

There are four competency pillars for destination management organizations including enabling environment, marketing investment, infrastructure, and product and experiences. The latter is the “life-blood” of a destination. These products and experiences are what make the destination really stand out as a unique place, not just to visit, but to live, work and play.

The Halifax region already has a strong mix of natural, cultural, historic, and Indigenous experiences that visitors are asking to learn more about to create lasting memories of their time here. Working together with multiple key partners, Discover Halifax can conduct an investment assessment of proposed initiatives and support targeted marketing for the key demographics.
