10 more reasons to visit Atlantic Canada's favourite city
For the 6th year in row, Discover Halifax has compiled a top 10 list representing must-do activities and events across all seasons and regions of the Halifax Regional Municipality in 2023.
Profiling these unique experiences provides visitors with more reasons to come to HRM and see what the region has in store. Given the variety and caliber of events and attractions being held in the coming year, there's something for everyone in the family.
The 2023 list is available on the DiscoverHalifaxNS.com website and is traditionally one of the most visited pages each year, with most traffic coming from out-of-region as people plan their visit to the HRM.
Promoted nation-wide with the support of the Halifax International Airport Authority, a digital-first campaign running until the end of January.
The Halifax region has once again topped the list among Atlantic Canadians for reputation and likelihood to visit in the next 12 months. These potential travelers see the region as both welcoming and friendly (73 per cent agree), while also being vibrant and energetic (74 per cent agree).
In addition to the top ten, Discover Halifax continues to promote events and attractions that occur regularly in HRM, featuring those activities prominently in campaigns, e-newsletters, via social media accounts, and in the Official Visitors’ Guide, to name a few.
