December 4, 2019 – Halifax, Nova Scotia: Discover Halifax is inviting residents and people working in the tourism sector to complete an online survey to assist in the development of a tourism master plan. “There are 210 communities throughout the Halifax region, and each one is welcoming and unique,” said Jefferson. “It is important we hear directly from people who live and work in these communities in order to develop a tourism master plan that continues to make Halifax a great place to live, work and visit.”

Discover Halifax will release the regional tourism master plan in Spring 2020 following community collaboration. The online survey is available on Discover Halifax’s website at https://discoverhalifaxns.com/tourism-master-plan until January 9, 2020.
