Part of the Take the Lead program, the Host Committee Reception recognized five events
Discover Halifax was proud to host our inaugural Host Committee Recognition reception, shining a spotlight on the dedicated community leaders who volunteer their time and expertise to attract major conferences.
These committees help shape the vision, the execution, and the experience for delegates and visitors alike, and make those events uniquely Halifax.
The reception honoured five host committees behind recent events:
- Environmental Design Research Association (EDRA56) - 2025
- Information Systems for Crisis Response and Management (ISCRAM) – 2025
- International Battery Materials Association Conference - 2024
- International Conference on Aquatic Invasive Species - 2024
- Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness (CAEH) - 2023
