Overview

Developing a business case for a large performing arts venue will allow HRM to host major productions, foster local talent, and stimulate cultural tourism year-round. With no venue currently capable of staging touring shows, a proposed performing arts venue would close this gap, support homegrown talent, and strengthen downtown revitalization. A solid business case ensures sustainability, governance clarity, and community support.
