Applications for the 2023/24 Board of Directors have closed
Discover Halifax is seeking skilled and qualified candidates to serve a two-year minimum term on their Board of Directors.
As an ideal candidate, you are part of the leadership team in your member organization, in the travel trade or a retail operations, and have a strong understanding of the local destination and tourism industry. Having previous volunteer experience in the sector, or having served on a Board of Directors, is an asset.
In order to ensure Discover Halifax’s Board has strong corporate governance, preferential consideration will be given to those with financial designations and interest in leadership growth on the Board.
Ensuring the Board of Directors has geographical representation from across Halifax Regional Municipality is important. Candidates from North and West End Halifax, and Musquodobiot Valley are highly encouraged to apply.
